Hello and welcome to Anytime Childcare of Rochester LLC, I am a licensed childcare provider in Olmstead Count through the State of Minnesota and am currently licensed as a Class A provider which allows me to care for 2 infants, 1 toddler, 3 preschool and 4 school age.

Payment Policy

Anytime Childcare will collect payments every Friday for that week of care. Any unpaid charges must be paid the following Monday before care will be given for the following week.

Non-Sufficient Fund

All non-sufficient checks will be charged a return fee of $30.00. If you have two non-sufficient fund or returned checks I will then require you to pay in cash.

Daycare Subsidy

Parents who qualify for Daycare Subsidy must have full approval in place prior to attendance. Any fees not covered by the Subsidy are the parents' responsibility and are payable on Friday of each week. Proof of qualification must be presented to provider prior to registration.

Meals and Snacks

I prepare balanced and nutritious meals daily and participate in Providers Choice food program.

I do not require children to eat everything on their plate; however I do expect them to try it. Please understand I believe nutrition is important, but this is not a restaurant and if a child does not like the food prepared I will not make another meal for them. (I will however accommodate for any dietary or religious requirements.)

If you are planning on arriving after meal times please feed your child/ren prior to arrival. If you child/ren is here for supper I will plan on them eating unless otherwise advised not to include them.

There is to be no food brought from home unless there is enough for all child/ren. I am not doing this to be unfair, it is to prevent jealousy of what another child/ren is eating.

Meals and snack time are as follows:

Breakfast 6:30-8:30am

Lunch 11:45-12:15pm

PM Snack 3:00-3:20pm

Supper 6:00pm

 Clothing

Please make sure your child/ren is dressed appropriately for the weather. If your child/ren is being potty trained please have a complete change of clothing and make sure the clothes are labeled with the child/ren’s name or initials.

 Items from Home

Vast arrays of toys are provided for your child/ren to play with. Please do not bring any toys from home. This can cause jealousy and fighting among the child/ren. A special pillow, blanket, or stuffed animal may be brought for nap times, but these items will be kept in cubbies or diaper bags until nap time. Other items such as diapers, wipes, and ointments are kept in a Tupper box labeled with the child/ren’s name and are only used for your child/ren. Also, no chewing gum is allowed at Anytime Childcare.

 Sleeping and Rest Arrangements

All child/ren must nap or have quiet time either reading a book, puzzles or just laying down. Please don’t come during naptime unless its unavoidable, picking up a child/ren during rest time interrupts others who are trying to rest. I will provide the blankets for the child/ren to nap on. If your child/ren has a special stuffed animal or blanket they are allowed to bring it from home but it will remain in the child/ren’s backpack or cubby until rest time.

 Non-Discrimination Practices

I do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, religion, sex, or disability.

 Illness Policy

Please advise the daycare prior to 8:00 am if a child/ren will not be attending daycare due to illness. Parents agree that a child/ren who is ill (e.g. fever, infection, diarrhea, communicable disease, or any other type of illness that may be passed on to others, with the exception of the common cold) will be kept at home to protect the well-being of my family and other child/ren in my care.  The parents further agree should a child/ren become ill while in care immediate arrangements will be made to remove the child/ren from the daycare. They will not be allowed to return to daycare until they have been symptom free for at least 24 hours. In some cases, a note from a doctor may be necessary.

Please respect my illness policy.  If a child/ren is not well enough to go outside to play or attend school, they are not well enough to attend daycare.

 Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency I will call upon my emergency contact and have them step in and take over care. They will then contact all parents and notify them of the situation, in this event you may need to come and pick up your child/ren.

 Fire and Storm Plans

I am required to hold monthly fire and tornado drills. Maps of the meeting places will be posted and handed out in with the welcome packets.

Transportation of Children

I may need to transport your child/ren, if I do so I will have proper seat belts and car seats for all children, but I may ask you to leave your car seat for the day.

I have up to date training on Child Passenger Restraints through the Mayo Clinic. By signing this policy, you give me permission to transport your child/ren as outlined here.

If a late pickup or drop-off is needed we appreciate being notified as soon you know. A 10 minute grace period for late pickups after 6p.m. will be given, however after that you will be charged a full hour at off hour rate.

At this time Anytime Childcare does not carry liability insurance. By signing this contract you understand that I do not have liability insurance on my childcare business. (We are currently in the process of obtaining insurance.)

Visitation

Anytime Childcare has an open door policy. Feel free to stop in and check up on your child/ren, with the exception for nap/quiet times. This is to insure that child/ren get enough sleep. We have a very busy schedule during the day.

Damages

Our home is child proofed to the best of our ability, however, accidents do happen. Anytime Childcare will repair or replace broken daycare equipment & toys due to normal wear and tear. However, should your child/ren purposely damage or break equipment or toys, then the item will be repaired or replaced at the cost of the parents.

House Rules

The “Golden Rule” treat others how you want to be treated is a rule here at Anytime Childcare. No spitting, hitting, biting, pushing, pinching, running in the house.

Potty Training

Anytime Childcare will work in conjunction with parents during potty training.  If you have a method that has been working for you, please let us know and we will adopt it for your child/ren.  We will work with you - but not for you.  Should you discontinue potty training at home, please let us know.  If a child shows no interest in potty training, we may choose to discontinue and try again at a later date. Please do not ask us to offer “treats” to the child/ren for going “potty”.

Substance Abuse Policy

Anytime Childcare prohibits the use of any illegal drugs.

Mandated Reporter

As a mandated reporter I must report any physical or sexual abuse that I may find on a child/ren.

Grievance Procedure

If at anytime you are not satisfied with Anytime Childcare please discuss it with me in order that I may see if we can correct the problem.

Here at Anytime Childcare we have an open communication policy to keep parents up-to date with daycare issues. We have a parent board that will have our activities, monthly schedule and menus posted. Any updates or issues will be communicated to parents either verbally or by letter sent home with the child/ren.
